SHS Activities
In the occasion of 16 days of activities against violence against women, from 25 November-10 December,SHS participated in a celebration of activities held in KHARAZ camp.
The attendance was from all the refugees in the camp, the representative of the UNHCR office and representatives of other humanitarian organizations.
SHS expresses in the celebration the rejection of violence against women through many activities one of them was a play talks about violence happened by the head of the family towards his wife and children.
Another play shows the family violence towards their daughters through wrong customs and traditions such as the female circumcision, which endanger their daughters lives and in some cases, may lead to death.
During the celebration songs and poems were presented against violence in all its forms and motivate the spirit of partnership and cooperation in the family. Also, on this occasion a sport activity was prepared by SHS in the camp, which was a sport match between SHS team and another organization team working in Kharaz camp.
It was ended with a victory for SHS team three goals for zero, and was crowned the cup of event; also medals were distributed to the teams as well as T-shirts shows the logo of the occasion.
