Hadramout Governor meet SHS representatives

A meeting was held by Hadramout Governor Mr. Ahmed Saeed Bin Brik and SHS representatives, where they discuss the projects SHS has been implementing in Hadramout and give a small brief on their project for the rehabilitation of damaged houses affected by the war in Hadramout, where 330 Houses has been identified in this project so far, targeting the following districts: al-Mukalla, Sayoon, Gail Bawazir, Al-Rayyan, Shahir and Hijer Broom.
During the meeting, the Governor and SHS General Manager Mr. Nasser Salim Ali Bajnob, discussed issues related to the smuggling of Africans across the seas by yachts to the coast of Hadramout, and ways of providing the necessary needs of displaced people, the disabled and the chronically ill, and poor family needs to which needs to be maintain urgently.
The Governor has shown a great appreciation to the efforts made by “SHS” in several humanitarian fields in Hadramout.
Ensuring the importance of preparing plans and budgets to implement some rehabilitation projects, water wells and supplies, and support poor family needs in outback areas for next year.
And a comprehensive field survey work for all remote districts that lack some important developmental services such as water and sanitation, as well as health services…
They also discussed the need for the intervention of international organizations for the relief of African refugees to contribute to deterrent and quick solutions to smugglings, which has become a threat to the security and stability of the region in general.
SHS General Manager Mr. Nasser Salim Ali Bajnob appreciated and thanked the Governor for his help in overcoming the difficulties and to providing SHS with safe environment in order to carry out their humanitarian work for affected people in the last war, as well as other projects.
The meeting was attended by secretary for Relief and Reconstruction Riadh Ben Taleb Al Kathiri, Salah Ahmed WFP project director, and Sabah Mohamed Salem Ben Brik M&E officer of SHS.
