SHS Implemented Solar energy project for school funded by UNHCR

SHS urgent efforts offered effectively support in reducing the students’ suffering in the schools of Aden governorate due to the electricity outages especially in the summer, which has a negative effect on the students, where SHS executed the solar energy program in eight schools. The solar energy program has been installed with 7.5 kilo Watt power for each school. The targeted schools have been selected by in order of necessity in total coordination with the UNHCR and the school’s principles of the targeted schools, where 15600 students distributed on eight schools benefit from this program on a governmental scale such schools are ( Al Basateen school, Khola Bint Khowailed school, Abdulrahman Al Khafqi school and Ahmed bin Hanbl school) in Dar Saad district ( Al Gherbani school) in Seera district ( Muneer Bin Mubarak school) ) in Al Shekh Othman district (Khalifa school) in Khormakser district (Khadeja Bint Khowaild school) in Mansura district.

This important project’s execution for the students is considered as an extension for similar projects conducted by SHS in various governorates in the year 2017 to reduce the citizens suffering due to the damages of the war. Over one million and two hundred thousands of citizens have benefited from the organization’s projects in the past year and we hope that more will benefit in the next year.
And here we would like to send a message for the supporters to intensify their efforts and assist the support in reducing the suffering of Yemeni citizens.
