Society for Humanitarian Solidarity (SHS) conducted Emergency Response Project for IDPs (RRM)

As part of the emergency humanitarian response to the conflict and deterioration of the security situation , The Society for Humanitarian Solidarity (SHS) with the support of the United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA) distributes Dignity kits and hygiene kits with the support of UNICEF and a ready-to-eat food basket (IRR)supported by WFP for 10246 families in the last year 2018 and 2963 families from the beginning of January 2019 to April 2019 in the governorates of Al-Mahara, Hadramout, Shabwa, Al-Dhale’e , Socotra and Al-Bayda in Nayti’ and Na’man districts in coordination with the United Nations Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (UNOCHA)to respond in a timely, coordinated and standardized manner in providing critical quick impact, lifesaving and multi-sectorial response to highly vulnerable persons by displacement, or natural disaster .RRM framework ensures a minimum package of high impact lifesaving intervention which is required to address the immediate needs of highly vulnerable populations affected by the crisis. At all stages RRM ensures the safety and dignity of the beneficiaries.
