Society for humanitarian solidarity is keen during of its work and Kharaz camp management to provide what can be better for refugees and camp residents.

One of these is getting donations from organizations and charities.

Over the past years SHS had received many contributions and made many donations which all had been distributed through SHS including the following:

2011

 August 2011:

Among Society for humanitarian Solidarity contributions in 2011, providing dates for refugees in Kharaz camp in the month of Ramadan.

 In this year SHS donated to buy 30 tons of dates to be distributed during the month of Ramadan.
A team from SHS prepared the warehouses to receive these quantities and distribute it in the holy month.
SHS has also succeeded in getting a donation from the UAE Red Crescent, where it 12 tons of dates in addition to 33.6 tons of pasta.
The distribution of these quantities done in the month of Ramadan in two phases ,where the first distribution was implemented in the second of Ramadan and the second distribution in the second half of Ramadan.

2010

August 2010:
Society for  humanitarian Solidarity and UAE Red Crescent donated in the holy month of Ramadan a 9600 kg of flour and 11900 kg of dates for the refugees the in Kharaz camp to help them perform rituals of fasting in the holy month.

2009

February 2009:

In 2009 and as a result of increasing the number of new arrivals and refugees from the cities, a donation from UAE Red Crescent was distributed by SHS to the new arrivals in Kharaz camp, so that they can get enough food.

The donation was 11,510 kg of flour, 19,800 cans of beans.

November 2009:

Seeking to let the residents of Kharaz Camp , men, women and children feeling the joy of Eid al-Adha, Society for humanitarian solidarity got a donation of 105 sheep for  sacrificial meats were provided by the UAE Red Crescent Society.

Also a donation from the Turkish society was received by CSSW which was 210 sheep.

2008

September 2008:
In 2008 and as a contribution to alleviating the suffering of refugees , UAE Red Crescent Society donated amounts of food that are considered essential materials in the food provided to refugees, where the amounts provided:

All the donations were distributed by SHS.

December 2008:

UAE Red Crescent had donated in 2008 to Kharaz refugee camp   an amount of flour and oil to the refugees, which had been distributed by society for humanitarian solidarity, where 2850 liters of oil and 342 bag of flour had been distributed on the blocks residents of the camp.

Also 50 bags of flour and 95 liters of oil were cooked to the new arrivals in Kharaz new arrivals center.

2007

December 2007:

In the Eid al-Adha, which coincided December 2007, the UAE Red Crescent Society donated   a number of 185 head of sheep to Kharaz camp, where SHS had slaughter and distributed the sacrifices to the camp residents.
